Muay Thai Kickboxing
Muay Thai Kickboxing is the national sport of Thailand with a long and rich history in Thai culture.
Muay Thai (also known as Thai Boxing) is an effective method of self-defense developed by the Siamese army during the medieval ages. It has evolved into the martial art of choice used by “eight-limbed warriors” to deliver punches, elbows, knees, and kicks, as well as standing grappling techniques to devastate their opponents both inside and outside of the ring. Muay Thai is globally recognized as an extremely effective form of hand-to-hand combat and an incredible way to get in shape fast!
Muay Thai Kickboxing is very different from typical kickboxing classes. There are punches, knees, elbows, kicks, clinch-work and even throws to inflict damage and knock out opponents. Muay Thai workouts develop cardio, speed, strength, agility, power, and overall coordination and best of all, training Muay Thai is fun! Training Muay Thai Kickboxing does not mean that you will be sparring. You will have this option but we know that not everyone is interested in striking another person or being hit! You can participate and benefit from training Muay Thai without having to spar.
